Customer Review: Part Time watch fixer

The 16 piece watch kit is well worth the money. A local jeweler wanted 20.00 to replace a watch battery. With the spanner wrench included in this kit I was able to remove the back and replace the battery myself for about 4.00. Be advised that these are not super high grade watch repair tools - I saw a spanner wrench on the net that listed for 40.00 - but these tools are great for the occasional band change, battery replacement, etc.

Customer Review: Good and cheap

I've been needing tools like these for a while now, ordered this item on Monday night and it arrived Thursday, altogether only cost me $18. The tools themselves were well made, it's nothing fansy but gets the job done, with these I was able to change batteries on 2 watches and adjusted the band on a third all in 15 mins, even lent them to a friend to adjust the band on a new watch he just purchased. All in all this is definitely an excellent deal even though all I really needed were the pin puncher/pusher/remover and the metal strap holder with the watch case opener, $18 altogether definitely beats the vendors at the malls for charging $8 to adjust band length and $10 for changing a battery.

The only negative thing I can say about these tools is that they don't come with a case or any kind carrier, they are basically loose once you open up the plastic container they came in, I had to buy a Walmart stationery box to harbor these tools at the end, but if I had a choice I'd definitely buy these again.
